Diane Hoyt (Burroughs)
In 1964 after graduating from East Carolina University, I married Pete Hoyt (W-L,'59). I taught elementary school for several years in both Arlington and Fairfax Counties before settling in Great Falls where we raised our three sons. In 1999 we retired to The Landings on Skidaway Island, Savannah, GA. Our active retirement finds us both playing lots of tennis, golf, bridge, boating and bowling! We are lucky to have one son and 4 grandchildren in nearby Florida who we see often and two sons and 1 grandson in northern VA who we also see frequently. Our trips to NOVA also include many visits with my 93 year-old mother who is still going strong in Arlington, and to the Northern Neck where we continue to enjoy our water-front home filled with many memories of the past 26 years! Pete and I enjoyed reuniting with his W-L '59 classmates last October and look forward to another fun time with old friends at this year's reunion. See you then - Diane
