I married Lynn Zirkle Lang (also of W-L Class of 1960) in 1971, after finishing college (Bowdoin), Law School (UVa) and the Army. Practiced law in DC and occasionally served in the U.S. Government. I completed my government service as Deputy U.S. Trade Representative with the rank of Ambassador. After official retirement, I practiced law for a few more years at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in DC, then fully retired to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where Lynn and I now live.
