IN MEMORY - December 23, 2013 - Leaving WL I attended the Corcoran Art School, American University and University of the Americas in Mexico City where I received a BA and MFA. My first job was as an artist for Hallmark Greeting Cards. I taught art at Pembroke Country Day School in Kansas City and then went to Saigon, Viet Nam where I was the AFVN weather girl and taught photography as a Department of Army civilian to GIs in III and IV Corp. I traveled in Asia and then taught art at the International School in Bangkok, Thailand. Returning to the States I received a Masters degree in International Education at the University of Southern California. I returned overseas to Isfahan, Iran where I taught art at the American School until I was evacuated the day Khomeini returned. Then to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates where I taught art in the American School until I was given a paid sabbatical to began work on my doctorate in Art and Art Education at Columbia University. I graduated in 1991 and worked as the Higher Education Director at the Foreign Policy Association and then the Executive Director of the Isabel O'Neil Studio Workshop for the Art of the Painted Finish. I now work as an artist and teach watercolor painting on the Crystal Cruise Line and live in New York City. Deceased 12-23-13
