Life after W-L took me to Madison College where I earned my degree in - what else? - education! I married my long-time boyfriend, David, and we have one daughter, Aimee. She is married to a USArmy officer and they have three children - ages 25, 22, and 18.
I retired from teaching in 2000 then continued substituting for another decade. My husband also retired from his business in 2000.
At present I have ceased doing volunteer work in an elementary school as well as in a middle school. I currently spend my time working on W-L issues; updating the Class of '60 and W-L databases; traveling and enjoying life!
David and I enjoy all the year-round benefits of owning a second home in the Shenandoah Valley. In 2022 we sold our Annandale, VA home of 42 years and moved to a new home in Ruckersville, VA in 2023. We are enjoying living in a 55+ active community as well as our vacation home in the Shenandoah Valley.
Life is good.....
