After graduating W-L, I attended the George Washington University and earned a degree in Economics. I had a long career as an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, retiring in 2011. My field was international labor statistics and this led to some interesting assignments at the OECD in Paris and the ILO in Geneva. My 1964 marriage to Dominic Sorrentino, whom I met at GWU, ended in divorce in the 1980s. We had a wonderful son, John, who tragically passed away in 2004. I still live in the house that I lived in as a teenager, having bought it from my parents. I attended the 50th reunion and reconnected with classmates Lucy (Hummer) Richards, Doris (Williams) Wallace, and Jan (Johnson) LaMotte. We continue to keep in touch. You can see from my photo that I'm a fan of the Washington Nationals. Go Nats! I was thrilled by their World Series win in 2019.
Currently, I keep busy with volunteer work, particularly as a member of the Board of Directors of Arlington Neighborhood Village.
